Washington Post, congressional correspondent Ed O’Keefe discusses the Commission’s recommendations and summarized recent attempts to address the problems of the appointments process. In a
separate opinion piece, Post writer Jonathan Bernstein agrees with the commission’s central argument that the appointments process needs to be fixed, stating that this is a “critically important but overlooked problem.”
